I agree  It didn't (or hasn't yet at least anyway) have ground-breaking success like Teenage Dream did by the end of its era, but PRISM stood its ground more than well enough :flutter:Two songs that were extremely successful and a spectacular world tour that is doing very well are not things to be disregarded :laughga:

this

I wish the ARTPOP era was a PRISM when it comes to success

My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

Its sales were not impressive at all and only two singles were successful. Keep trying Billboard, PRISM was a good era but not as good as Teenage Dream. That's like saying that BTW was an impressive era.

Numbers don't lie. This era may not have been as successful as Teenage Dream but it only lost to 1989 if you take a look at the past 2 years in pop music.

You're only talking about the singles though. There were albums that were more successful. The Katy Perry worship because of her singles' success (just 2 this era) is nauseating.

The era went great but then they released birthday and TIHWD instead of WOA and LL and it makes me think ha team wasn't even trying after Dark Horse.

Yeah I kinda felt that way about it too, I can't actually understand why they went with those two singles when they had people literally begging for either WOA/LL :duck:

In terms of singles I totally agree, but then if you look at the respective tours then The Prismatic World Tour is currently beating California Dreams Tour by over twice as much  :udidnt: And that number is just going to keep increasing :laughga:

Which other albums by a female pop artist sold more than Prism in the last two years? And I'm not talking about singles tho, I'm talking about the whole era. That means albums, singles, tours, etc.

Yeah the tour did well but that's just a little part of an era. Good box score doesn't equal to an impressive era.

Dark Horse alone is enough to call the Prism era a success

I think,BB loves to make unnecessary articles on the successful artists.Prism Era is so 2013 and they're making article about it  in 2015  :smh:
Katy's team doing a good job. This is all part of promoting her Superbowl performance

Watch Gaga coming for dem weaves this year and they'll make an article about ARTPOP in 2016 :coffee:

Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine

Well the Australian leg ended in December and she's having a break until February (to prepare Superbowl stuff pretty much  :excited2: ), but yeah the European leg is the last thing left - 21 shows beginning from February 16th and ending on March 22nd :woot:

She started The Prismatic World Tour with a UK leg in May 2014 which is when I saw her, so she isn't visiting the UK on her European leg unfortunately :ohno: But thank you, I had a very amazing time

They are probably trying to create hype for the Superbowl performance so that they can post endless articles about her after she performed. This era is impressive nonetheless. I hope Legendary Lovers gets a single treatment after the Superbowl. :ohno:
