They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

According to Recording Industry Association of America, an EP is defined as 3-5 songs OR under 30 minutes

The Fame Monster: number of songs: 8

                                Length: 34:09

So no The Fame Monster is not an EP, people made the mistake to label it as an EP, it is an Album with its own era

The Fame Monster barely fits the definition of an album but it is. It is a body of work which has received vast attention from Gaga and which is one of Gaga's solo records of original content. Red and Blue was an EP. The Fame Monster wasn't and isn't and never will be an EP by definition so technically and, by a very narrow margin, Gaga's next solo record is LG5

I've been saying this.

:applause:

TFM is an album, its longer than 25 minutes! Thriller had 9 tracks and was considered an album...TFM has 8...and is not? Where is the logic? :giggle:

Umm bye.

If you don't think TFM was #LG2 then you're not really a fan and don't what wtf you're talking about. Gaga herself has said its a standalone album that stood on its own feet.

And C2C is obviously #LG5 no matter what you basics say. Though because it is a collaborative album, I can see why maybe some don't consider it that way. TFM is definitely #LG2 tho :thetea:

lol the fact that I and Gaga see it as standalone album does not make it one - EP is Extended Play and we are talking about LPs :thetea:

It feels like a re-release, it even has the same name. "The Fame" (monster)

Also sales were combined as it was tracked like a re-release.

I wish she would have called it something else instead of TFM, then I would have seen it more separately.

Like Monster Jam or Monster Party or Monster Pop.

Just kidding those are terrible.

But something like that, and make it more separate.

I can see it being 4 for people who don't count TFM or 5 for those who do, but I absolutely don't understand why people are counting C2C.  (I don't know what to count TFM as considering it was technically an pdd re-release of The Fame but since Gaga considers it its own album then okay I guess)

It's a joint album with someone else full of covers with no original work, it shouldn't be counted in line with her own original work.  Just because it has an era doesn't mean anything; the Fame perfume also had an era.  Of course anything someone puts out will have a promotion era.  Just because C2C is being promoted doesn't mean it falls into the same category as her main albums.

Monster Pop ...what kind of tacky candy name :nooo: :giggle: I get where you are going with that. But I think it was meant to be a standalone after the release and succes of Bad Romance...
