Spock 20,290
I respect her as an artist and even though I know nothing about her/her music I would really go to the MoMA exhibit if I had the chance, but I really don't understand her music and I can't get into it who will love me when the night is over

scrappy 302
I love Stonemilker, Black Lake and Lion Song! I like the album but I hoped for at least one song like Mutual Core, Pluto or Army of Me...
AyaKara 2,281
I never understood the thing everyone has for Björk. Her music is the most deepest you will ever find lyrically. It's as if she sings to the human soul. She is amazing at expressing every single emotion with her voice and words. Have you tried listening to her English songs? There are many that are more easily accessible. I respect her as an artist and even though I know nothing about her/her music I would really go to the MoMA exhibit if I had the chance, but I really don't understand her music and I can't get into it There are a lot of songs that are more accessible than others do you prefer sad songs, happy songs, 'thinking' songs? mic 1,415
In my opinon this album is good, maybe not as good as Medulla, Biophilia, Homogenic and Post but I appreciate the emotions she delivers in it. Very sensitive and beautiful, these are not a songs to listen 323535 times in a row (i just do it with stonemilker), it is some kind of experience, something like Sigur Rós - they also have long songs which sound boring at first but if you sit in a room alone and just play the album it gets so powerful. Jonna Lee 384
I wonder if the death of her friend and collaborator Mark Bell had some influence. Perhaps it sparked this sadder, more emotional album. there are rumours that shes going through a breakup as well, so that could have inspired it as well i like it when u treat me mean it turns my mood from black to blue
Ayo 300
it doesnt have that homogenic feel, but then again its wrong to expect that i guess
