And no, I do not count Cheek To Cheek as her solo album cos it is clearly not. Even on the CD it is said Tony Bennette AND Lady Gaga. It would be like counting The Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack as a Lorde album because she curated it. It's not correct. Bad example but you see what I'm saying. An EP is 3-4 songs - The Fame Monster is 8 entirely new songs that stand on their own from any of her other work. It also had a new tour, specific looks and themes, and an entirely new era dedicated to it. Just because one edition of it was packaged with The Fame doesn't mean it's an EP. Cheek to Cheek, although a collaborative work, is also a Lady Gaga album, thus it can't just be ignored in counting her discography. If you wanna say the next one is her fifth solo effort, that would be accurate, but saying the next one is just her fifth album is incorrect from several perspectives. Technically, an EP is from 2-9 songs so The Fame Monster IS an EP. But fans and people in general call it an album for having much many songs than an EP usually have, for having almost none connections to the previous one, its own music videos etc. Professionally, she only had 3 FULL length solo albums, but anyway Cheek To Cheek IS a Gaga's album. She's not just a collaboration but it's a 50/50 thing (actually it can be considered more Gaga's than Tony because her management is taking care of the era ) It'll be her sixth ERA, but her fifth full length album and fourth solo full length album Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
