I joined because of Gaga's jazz, which was evident long before C2C, and because of what a good person she is. I would never have joined because of pop music, even though she is extremely talented. But really I had to finally come aboard after lurking for a few months shortly after the ERTPOP era began. Of course, I was treated immediately to incredible meltdowns and speculation as to WHAT THE HECK was going on with the Do What U Want and Venus video. I knew Gaga was something special from some of her first TV performances, and have stalked the woman for years, endlessly watching her music videos. I joined in march 2014 because SXSW came and Lm.com became boring sorta similar.... right at some point last spring, gaga stopped using LM.com and the site basically was just flat and boring and definitely not the place to go for actually communicating with people about gaga related stuff... it was just a mess... so i started using GGD more often again.
