drinkmytears 2,332 Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Well, using a very rough estimation of 400,000 per show which was reported for A-list pop stars like Gaga and counting the shows she has done, she has taken home $181,200,000. That seems a bit ridiculous considering the 70 shows she did for The Fame Ball grossed so little. So I'd say just over $100,000,000.  The tickets for TFB were like $20...  I loved how The Monster Ball was such a huge tour with a little over 200 dates. I always wondered why the rest of her tours were so short, or maybe TMB was so long.  People probably wanted to cash-in quickly in case she crashed. Also I don't think they were expecting the huge demand at first. She honestly could've played some stadiums in Europe back then. Also the first set of theatre shows in the USA helped.  If only she didn't break her goddamn hip  If only the BTWB wasn't cancelled the number would be up to 530  But SLAY  Not to be a downer, but the American (North+South) dates of the BTWB weren't selling so great. I know the shows were reported as soldout, but they were not completely soldout...I don't think she would've "slayed: To be honest the hip incident was really meant to happen. The problem was the album only had 1/2 (depending on how you look at it) hits that were already off the radio-waves by the time the tour was announced! Hit album=hit tour. Â That's why I considered the first number as a ridiculous sum. $100M from a $227M, $181M, and a $90M grossing tour still seems reasonable in my opinion.
