Nile Rodgers is a HUGE producer.

Madonna's Like a Virgin album? Yup thats him. Basically most of the funky hits were produced by him too.

Diane Warren- I won't even bother typing out a list of her songwriting credits because its VERY long, but you've heard many many of her songs.

Celine Dion Because you loved me, Leann Rimes Cant Fight the Moonlight and How Do I Live, Brandy Have you ever, Aerosmith I dont wanna miss a thing, You were loved Whitney Houston, Unbreak my Heart Toni Braxton, etc. etc.

Has Nile done anything recent that's been a hit? Besides an 80's album...

Is Gaga using an assistant writer on the next album? :awkney:

Why are you being passive aggressive and shady? Yes Nile has done something recent, he just won a grammy last year for record of the year.

Yeah, I'm sure most of these critics came across an album called ARTPOP and judged it fairly, with no bias or preconceived notions.   :koons:  The number of albums, films, novels, etc., that critically/finally underperformed, only to later be appreciated, is staggering. I'm pretty confident that ARTPOP will among them.

I don't think the album was going to be praised no matter the title cause it just isn't fresh enough or substantial enough. Most critics acknowledged that there were 2 or 3 great tracks (usually DWUW, Dope, and Gypsy) but the rest would understandably come across as throwaway for non-fans. I'm sure if Gaga's career goes well from here on out the album will be looked at a little more favorably but it's not substantial enough to get majorly re-appraised when it's mainly s-x/d--g bops.

Metascore 61

Generally favorable reviews based on 30 Critics

It was included in several year-end lists by music critics and publications.

61 isn't good, it's only 2 points away from "mixed or average reviews"

I think it says "good". Do you see otherwise?

All this talk about "flopping" has really got to Gaga, which could be a good thing tbh

It means she really wants to be back on top, hence why she is working with RedOne again and with these two acclaimed people!

I can imagine some high profile features to be on it too, maybe Adele if she is up for it?

If this is true than she finally listen to us (and managers): She has to hire a professional songwriter, to write with her.
