Farron 257
I avoid pictures of Gaga wearing fur or talking about it because they piss me off. i love Gaga but wow, whenever I seempics of her in fur, I really get very disappointed in her. Especially because someone so famous and with so much influence could help stop animal abuse, not encourage. Then I hear her bash PETA and I'm like, stfu plz !!!! same here. I HATE pictures of her wearing fur. I don't understand why she started wearing it, I mean she used to be against it, it disappoints me so much... Also everyone irl thinks I don't give a **** about animal rights because I'm a Gaga stan, lmao. superhuman
Born To Slay 10,996
!!!! same here. I HATE pictures of her wearing fur. I don't understand why she started wearing it, I mean she used to be against it, it disappoints me so much... Also everyone irl thinks I don't give a **** about animal rights because I'm a Gaga stan, lmao. Why would they think that? It's not really that common knowledge that she's a fur hag. Unless they're refering to the meat dress, not the fur. People have asked me how I can be a vegan and still support Gaga after the meat dress and I'm like "I have friends and family who eat meat, how can I hate on a pop star who uses it but then buy them gifts and stuff" If u really think about it tho, she was never really an animal rights activist. She eats meat and wears leather and I think her perfume was tested on animals. And considering all that + she only made one comment about fur and wore a Kermit outfit that was supposedly an anti fur statement, she's never really done anything else for animal rights and she never commented on fur after like 2009. So I don't know why we're so shocked. The reason she started wearing it is probably because she never cared much in the first place. But considering all this, it was still very sad to see Gaga wearing fur.

So I don't even know either why the fur thing shocked/disappointed me. Idk. superhuman

So I don't even know either why the fur thing shocked/disappointed me. Idk. Luckily people still take me seriously as animal rights activists and I've converted a few people into vegans and today a girl came up to me and said she bought a fake leather bag instead of a real one because remembered what I said happens to animals for leather. I know better then to wear Gaga Merch when I go protesting stuff like the circus and fur stores tho, I tell them Ariana Grande is my top fav, she's a vegan and PETA darling, can't wait for her to pose naked against fur (it has to happen eventually, I need a nude Ariana photo in my life!). But I think I know why we were so shocked/saddened, fur as a taboo in our culture that other stuff just doesn't have and even tho, other stuff is just as bad as fur, fur just feels like it sends an extra **** you to animals even tho it doesn't. It's hard to explain.

It's hard to explain. I know what you mean. I thought about it often. For example, when I was eating at a restaurant with a friend, and she ordered a chicken salad while complaining over a woman who sat next to us because she was wearing fur. I remember asking myself, why is it ok for her to eat meat but not ok for someone else to wear fur? Her answer was that people can live without fur. But well, people can live without meat as well. And it's not like chicken are treated better.. I saw a lot of videos about it.. superhuman
GagaisHotAF 419
When she betrayed the anti fur movement and decided to wear fur despite knowing damn well that animals are often a--lly electrocuted and skinned alive, and then when she was called out on her cruel hypocrisy, acted like a child and made a joke of the situation. That was a controversy, I read about that all over the place in 2012. That's the one thing she did that really angered me. I mean come on there are so many nice things to wear not dead animals. Tbh I would rather her wear human instead of animal fur. Probably on Grindr

What'd she say when you told her that people can easily and healthfully live without meat? That's the one thing she did that really angered me. I mean come on there are so many nice things to wear not dead animals. Tbh I would rather her wear human instead of animal fur. Same here, I'm misanthropic and I can't stand people (forums don't count). I'd much rather Gaga wear the skin of a manipulative cunning b---h then the skin of an innocent animal. Of course, as a vega, I'd rather she not use either.

She called them crazy on howard stern and gave out misinformation about them, she said they're against people having pets yet in reality they encourage people to adopt pets and they've stated on their website that they don't want people to stop taking care of their pets. Then she implied she might drop the fur but she didn't. And that ugly ****ing mask she wore... tbh PETA is one **** organisation. But yeah, she shouldn't wear fur. Born To Slay 10,996
She didn't even have an answer for that, lmao. She changed the subject as far as I can remember. Typical. Most people only wanna care about animals when it's convient for them. Most are more then happy to look the other way when they cause suffering but then when someone wears a fur they're like "animal killer!" I just think to myself "you're seriosuly saying that? You're wearing leather, you eat meat and your perfume came from a company that animal tests. Who the **** r u to complain?" And I always point out this hypocrisy to people and that actually made one person ditch animal products altogether, so keep pointing out the hypocrisy, it may inspire just one person. In fact, never stop talking about the plight of animals, be proud to talk about it.

Born To Slay 10,996
tbh PETA is one **** organisation. But yeah, she shouldn't wear fur. I disagree with you on the PETA insult. In 2014 alone they made very important victories for animals. I'll name just a few. 1. They're campaigning led India to ban all cosmetics that were tested on animals, this alone saves millions of lives. 2. They exposed the Angora industry for what it is. Following this, sales dropped and haven't recovered as many designers and companies banned the sale of it. 3. PETA got Newport cigarettes to stop animal testing, this not only saved the dogs and monkies from more horrifying abuse but this also provides smokers a cruelty free brand and that's a huge step to finally ending animal testing on animals. Go watch the "what peta did in 2014" video to see all of their victories for animals. Now I know they aren't perfect by any stretch but an organization that got all this accomplished is not ****. She stopped talking to you because you were an animal rights activist? I carry around pro-vegan signs in school and am always talking to people about the subject and always make opinion known, it's why I've been so successful. None of my friends abandened me for it, in fact one time a kid was making fun of me behind my back and one of my friends told him off. It's very strange shed stop talking to you because she didn't like the truth behind her abusive actions.

I mean, I do love her but that doesn't mean I agree with everything she does and I truly wish she would care more about animals rights.. I have never once praised Gaga for wearing a meat dress or anything fur-related. I mean I can kind of understand where my friend is coming from but I don't think she understand that I don't approve to everything Gaga does. superhuman
