So Taylor, the one who literally made a career out of makong spiteful songs about her ex bfs, the 25 yo who made a song bashing another artist just because she DARED to hire back her dancers and made a huge deal out of it is right but katy is not for daring to strike back (which is a rumour)

She made a career out of writing her own music and playing a multitude of instruments. Don't confuse the two. She used song-writing as an outlet for her feelings on certain subjects. Just because those are the songs that many people can relate does not mean she built a career out of being spiteful. It wasn't the fact that Katy hired back the dancers, it's the fact that it was a bad business deal, hiring people that had a contract with one of your so-called "friends" in the middle of an arena tour. Also, Bad Blood is about feeling betrayed, although it most likely is about Katy, it does not say anything specifically about her. That's the genius of Taylor Swift, she writes her own feelings but can make them vague enough that anyone listening can put their self into that situation.

Isn't Taylor supposedly pretty shady? Like she's America's sweetheart, but then she'll diss people in acceptance speeches, laugh at them while they perform, etc.? idk. I also saw some interviews where she was being nice and giving compliments but they didn't seem genuine.

I'm suspicious.

Oh she is definitely shady. I've noticed those things too. That's what's so annoying about her to me -- the GP seems to have fallen for her act. She's not as innocent and sweet and "pure" as they think.

And also of making bitter songs about exes ( I dont see how all that about Taylor being talented and Kety being not was needed since i wasnt talking about that) Now i didnt say that was a bad a thing but it doesnt add up with taylor being really nice. Besides if Katy is such a tool i doubt she picked back those dancers or knew that Taylor was using them. If anything Taylor should be singing to her management not her.

And then Katy asked asked her boyfriend to diss Taylor on twitter and it totally backfired :laughga:

No but in all seriousness, Katy kind of brought all this negative feud attention to herself because it was she who basically said that she was the target of the song. At the RS interview, where the song was announced, before the Regina tweet, Taylor only talked about "somebody who had backstabbed her" or some **** like that. I would also say that the problem runs deeper than the dancers because Katy dated John Mayer after Taylor and from what he said in interviews, he was not happy at all about the all dragging, truth telling hymn Dear John. So I suspect something happened there.

Oh and I think that the Mean Girls reference in Blank Space is totally coincidental because she actually filmed the videos for Shake It Off, Blank Space and the third single at the beginning of the summer, before any of this happened. But I live for it

What's the mean girls reference??

Oh wait nevermind.

You said she made a career out of making bitter songs about exes. I informed you that that is untrue. Anyone can sing songs about "he's an asshole!!!" "He cheated on me!" but the context of the songs aren't really what matters, at least in my opinion. What matters is how you can relate to a song. Taylor is not suing anyone. She simply feels hurt by someone she used to be friends with intentionally trying to sabotage her tour. The same way you would feel hurt if someone did something intentional to hurt you. Plus, anyone who thinks Katy didn't know those dancers were on Taylor's tour is simply ignorant in my opinion. She may not have orchestrated that move, but she sure should not have supported it once she realized they were booked. The dancers loyalty on the other hand is something to be seen.
