Brooke Hoegan 1,018
omg, did anyone actually watch that parody ? is he sick in the head, like real ? how can anybody laugh at this ? rape ? if she was determined, she could sue him for making threats to her I mean WTF, she was so right, didn't you felt it was creepy while watching this ? I wonder what would you say if somebody made a parody with your ass being stalked and almost raped... it's so funny hahaha hello :excuseme:
MaybeKermit 4,754
so every parody u dislike should be taken down? no not at all, I was just talking about the parody lol
Kayla 7,595
Saying they removed the video simply because they "didn't like it" or because of issues of it being "copy-written" is incorrect. They removed it because of the violent aspect. He stabs Taylor's security to death, then chases her through her house (after stalking her), talks about raping her, kills her, and makes an outfit out of her body, etc. If I was an artist and someone used my song to sing about me in that way I'd be very upset. I personally wouldn't have it taken down, but when celebrities have been murdered by fans, stalked, etc. it's a very real fear for someone in the spotlight to have. Guest
I don't blame her, I don't find these funny, I find them rude. You have to look at it from her perspective watching people make fun of her work but, his work is not bad compared to bart baker and barely political ...I agree with Taylor, but compared to other parodies this is nothing. Why not shut down Bart Baker? He's horrible. Also, shutting a video down because you don't like it? Kinda unfair, even though I get where she is coming from. Paper Planes 340
He never said that it was Taylor's decision, it was Sony's decision. But the video does seem a bit inappropriate for anybody to watch, really... delete it fat
MonsterOfSpain 8,307
I thought it was hilarious but I understand why Taylor would be bothered about it

Would love to see everyone's response if the whole thread was about gaga and not Taylor.

Sebastien 16
It wasn't tasteful in my opinion. He pretty much took a Taylor Swift song and made a parody about killing her in it. How could anyone expect her or her label to be okay with it. Should it have been taken down? Not necessarily but he was asking for it.
xzxyyxzx 116
Y'all put yourself in Shane's shoes, he did a parody invested money, time, creativity, and created this video and now it was taken down when he did nothing illegal or wrong for that matter, and quit acting like it's oh so violent I know a lot of y'all watch more violent things than this, Taylor's team had no right in deleting the video He never said that it was Taylor's decision, it was Sony's decision. But the video does seem a bit inappropriate for anybody to watch, really... If we used this mentalityl shows like the walking dead, and others should be pulled off the air.. Cause they seem a bit innappropriate for anybody to watch. Sony or Taylor's team had no right in taking the video down honestly

It was associated with Taylor. The rape references etc etc. are not appropriate when you're basing your video off of something made by Taylor Swift that will likely be seen by a lot of her young fans. It's irrelevent how much time, money and creativity was put into it. stream bionic

Redstreak 6,653
You mean Taylor Swift herself went and pressed the delete button?? Her power Just like when Lady Gaga specifically told Weird Al that he could NOT parody her song BTW right?? Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

I'm sure that alone violates some of YouTube's content rules. I'm definitely supportive of this decision, because that parody crossed all kinds of lines. You can't take things like that lightly in today's world. It's science, bitch
