How can you all be defending him & the video!?

As another poster said you've gotta put yourself in her shoes and watch this, it's a vile video.

I'm all for violence and dark humour now and again but imo the video goes way too far, you literally see him stabbing people and bashing their heads in. Suicide and rape is also joked about?!

I think we're forgetting this was meant to be a funny parody video, all of those themes aren't really suitable, films like saw and stuff have desensitised us to the point where we think those kinda themes appearing in a youtube parody are absolutely fine.

If this entire thing was about gaga and not Taylor I'm sure many of you would have much different views.

I don't blame her, I don't find these funny, I find them rude. You have to look at it from her perspective watching people make fun of her work but, his work is not bad compared to bart baker and barely political ...

I cringe at Shane Dawson now. His videos were funny, but now they are bland and humourless.

However, I'd rather they remove Bart Baker because he is just not funny, period. His videos disturb me.

In my messy era.

It's Shane Dawson, that's kinda his thing. I don't think they should take down this parody cause you can see he invested a lot of money to make this.

It's a bad video, I don't like shane dawson and I don't think he is funny.

I just think this sets a poor precedent. Parodies are legal, they are allowed on television even when the artist has a problem with it.

This video isn't particularly smart or political but what if Robin Thicke or his team wanted these parodies deleted?

You could see why he would dislike those parodies right?

Some people find Shane and this video entertaining. It's not to my taste, but I don't like the idea that big corporations like Sony are putting pressure on YouTube to further restrict creators' content.

Shane and other Youtubers have other Taylor Swift parodies on their channels, so it isn't really a copyright issue. They don't like the content. I don't like the idea of Sony being able to dictate the subject matter of parodies relating to them or their artists.

This is just an example of a big corporation bullying the little guy with no power.

Not a fan of Shane Dawson and I don't expect you to become one, but he is known for this sort of content and it's what his fans want. Youtube is really one of the only places creative/niche creators like Shane can survive and prosper away from corporate influences. It would be nice for it to stay that way.

oh im sorry, i guess taylors new album shouldve been dated 1984, not 1989 cuz all i see now is corporations bastardizing the internet. he has every right to keep his video up, regardless of whether or not its funny.

wtf ..... in now way his parody is offensive to Taylor ..... infact it's promo from her

if any parody should have been taken down should be BartBake's parody of BS where he is mean to Taylor, in his video he portaits her as the devil infact in all his parodies he portaits he as a devil, devil possessed etc. WHERE in Shane's parody the evil one is Shane's character that get's obssessed wioth Taylor after listening her new album :dead:

It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

it's stupid to take something down just because they don't like it when parodies are LEGAL .... if they had problem with the violence they should have simply made it age restricted :bye:

I remember when bart baker made a parody of applause telling gags shes a has been. And this video isnt that insulting compared to that. You people plus taylor needs to sit and let this guys entertain tbh.
