Sailor Moon (specifically its Crystal rendition which cuts a lot of the chaff out) I've heard a lot of good things about Evagelion, but never delved into it. You can also try flavor of the months like Attack on Titan. There are also some fun renditions of certain games as anime (specifically Persona 4: The Animation, and Persona 3 trilogy movies, which is amazing if you didn't want to try the games) Also classics like Cowboy Bebop. ItsTommyBitch 12,640 Posted January 4, 2015 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Code Geass for action and drama Attack on Titan too if you can deal with cliffhangers Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon are some of my FAVORITE animes of all time (sailor moon being my #1 for personal reasons...), but you need a stomach for monster of the day and filler It was easier having grown up with the two shows. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a pretty darn underrated one imo too. Its both cute and serious and the plot is just.. well its interesting. It's not very trope-y in its premises. Guilty Crown is a nice action-drama-romance one too, it is a bit political like Code Geass, but of these shows ive listed Code Geass has the best balance of everything, + its kind of short) Oh and Durarara!
