To jump to a collection now would come off as desperate since the public hasn't heard much from here in a few years aside from Applause. It would seem like she is riding her past popularity and that's not something she needs to deal with. I know she is capable of writing a hit. I think she is confident in her work again and not trying to prove that she is skilled, which is why AP suffered imo. It came off as try hard to a lot of people, especially the GP who don't know what happened behind the scenes. Get another hit or two first and then maybe.
