Tbh what bothers me is when people on here call "belting" screaming though :air: She definitely screams occassionally or tries to like growl out high notes or climatic measures for emotional effect Like a lot of ha Fame Era live performances :sweep: But she doesnt actually scream @ all on "ARTPOP", which is why it bothered me to hear people say it This too. Screaming =/= beting. It annoys me to no end when people here like omg yaaaaas gaga belt it gorl. Gaga a weak belt, but hey, at least she can belt. She just loves to rock the f*ck out. Part of her screaming is why her stage presence is so different from other artists. Mainly because the originals sounded more dynamic and the screaming takes away from the melody and heart of the song. I suppose that's the point of covers though; each artist has their own expression of it. I suppose I just wish she'd control it more so it's not as monotone and violent.
