Why do y'all hate on screaming-Ga?

It sounds cool in Swine, but when she does covers and she screams (bang bang, that song by 4 blond sisters or whatever it was) it is very disturbing and makes me not want to listen anymore

I personally love it! I think it helps you get more in the song and feel the excitement of it. She just loves to rock the f*ck out. Part of her screaming is why her stage presence is so different from other artists. When she screams you can tell she's giving it her all

Cause pop fans are not into anything diffrent than autotuned vocals and pretend they know everything about music and singing anyway she have to do it in the right amount

Most of the time it's too excessive, but it does suite certain songs more than others. The last artRAVE for example was too far for me, but that's because she was excited!

Agreed completely.

I love when she screams live!

Best screaming performance tbh

Just sounds unpleasant in certain songs, Donatella at the last artRAVE for example sounded horrible when she screamed the chorus

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

I thought this for a while... but then C2C came out and she hit those notes with ease live, even adding some high ad-libbing into the last dates of the ArtRAVE (esp. the broadcast Yahoo one) and I was like :what:

I'm convinced now she just does it for effect, because she can definitely hit the notes :megaflop:Even at low dynamic levels

The difference is she wasn't trying to belt in a lot of C2C, which makes it easier to sing those notes, but yes, her range has gotten bigger.

It is not a pleasant sound. It's especially awful when she performs a normal pop song and starts screaming (GUY, Poker Face... ) and it will harm her voice

Not everything is supposed to be "pleasant". Gaga fans of all should know this, she's been playing with the concept her entire career.

And she's been taking professional voice lessons since she was young. I'm pretty sure she knows what does and does not hurt her voice.
