Why do y'all hate on screaming-Ga?

I mean, she's performing CLASSIC ROCK music powerful uptempo oriented (even if she performs them as rising ballads / midtempos), how do you expect her to sing it without screams of excitement, of euphoria.

I think her screaming makes the songs grow a lot, without them her renditions of the song would be kind of plain.

Because classic rock may involve screaming at times but that doesn't mean she's doing it pleasantly

That's like someone saying they're making catchy pop music with the "Ooh's" and "la la la's" but really they're just saying "WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP"

Screaming in a song during a part that's supposed to be screamed, but said screaming causing her to go off key? Bad.

I love her screaming so much! People don't realise that she is screaming because she gets so damn excited when she performs and has to let it out. It makes her happy and suits the genre so people just need to relax and enjoy the theatre and drama of her screaming.

I dont mind it. Tbh what bothers me is when people on here call "belting" screaming though :air:

 

She definitely screams occassionally or tries to like growl out high notes or climatic measures for emotional effect Like a lot of ha Fame Era live performances :sweep:

 

But she doesnt actually scream @ all on "ARTPOP", which is why it bothered me to hear people say it

back then in 09-010, it was really cool. but now it sounds like her nose is really stopped up and nasally. like I cringed so hard during some parts of the "What's Up" performance.

If you're talking about What's Up, that song is not meant to be screamed. It's meant to be belted. Most classic rock doesn't have screaming in it, just very rough and mixed belting. When Gaga screams it's overwhelming and takes away from the song more than help it. It would be better if she did it lightly, not the throughout the whole damn song. Not to mention it will **** up her voice eventually.
