iloveit123 130 Posted December 17, 2014 Share Posted December 17, 2014 I've heard the album, and i like "Illuminati" and other few songs. I'm a huge fan of her, but what happened? Iconic( or whatever) is still a electro dance album, just like MDNA, maybe better, but still not a great album to me. Confession on a dance floor was/is a true masterpiece, "how high" which is just a random track in the album DESTROY EVERYTHING from MDNA AND ICONIC. Drue dat... any given track from COADF or her earlier stuff sh*ts on this. And she says they are demos on her Instagram but I wouldn't be surprised if half these songs pretty much stay the same, like what happened with GMAYL. Some may be very different, but I have a feeling that others won't, we'll see. And I don't need more EDM for them to be different. TBH, the slow ones can stay as is, at least she is singing normally on those. It's the silly EDM ones that can go... Lots of album do not leak and if they do, not in this fashion. Clearly this was an issue with Madonna's team . Karma. Think twice before calling ppl reductive or mocking their songs on your tour. That didn't leak because they employed the same security Kanye and Jay Z have only more intense because the surprise was a huge part of the marketing. And they did everything to keep it secret, including having everybody sign confidentiality agreements and proceeding on a need to know basis. That was an exception. Some artists are prone to leaks, others aren't. And judging by TFM leaks, Judas, Aura, Applause, Brooklyn Nights, a couple of snippets here and there and music videos, Gaga is. So will you be yelling karma then? Her voice is ok on so many others. I don't get it. Madonna was probably trying to be so cool being in the studio with a hot young guy, lol. I've never liked his music though, so not surprised here. And some of these huge EDM producers don't care about vocals. And I only use the term EDM because I know there was "electronic dance music" before, but it's the quickest way to reference the slew of garbage new producers out there that I wish Madonna would avoid. She's been on the top for 3 decades. Now she's making THE SAME MUSIC GENRE tons of artist are. Of course COADF didn't invent dance music but it brought it back in the 2000's giving us an amazing dance album, the best I've ever heard. I'm not saying ICONIC is pure s***.
