She kinda did something similar for the release of BTW... similar tactic, although only 2 singles / 2 videos in advance of the album release.

But Gaga (pre-ARTPOP mess) did heavy promo for each single and the era's lasted a couple or few months.

Plus, if Gaga wanted a lot of singles...she's literally have to take a year off before the album release for each single to get its own time and era.

Like how she announced ARTPOP in Aug/Sept of 2012 and released it Nov 2013...she could easily had 5/6 singles out by then.

The thing that wouldn't make it possible is that Interscope wouldn't allow the album to be promoted like that. :smh:

IDK. We'll see how Marina's goes, but there's always the possibility of say, the first or second single doing well, then the follow up singles doing abysmally - thus killing any hype by the time the album release date rolls around.

Froot is one of the only singles in mainstream digital music history that couldn't even chart in ANY charts around the world... she's not doing things right I guess

No god please no.

She needs to release like Rihanna. Release the song a month early and then drop the album and release a second single a month after that.

This whole, three months between lead single and album thing is no good.

Taylor Swift did this for Red except, it was over the course of a month, not 5 freaking months :wtf:

Little Managers strike again =D

I think she should release it in a way that none of us would anticipate or think of just like Beyoncé did... That is a type of thing that Gaga should do...

Gaga already markets music differently than other artists.

Usually, an artist will release an album and then tour it straight away. Release singles while on tour and stuff too.

I like that Gaga gives the tour it's own era kind of. To me, the BTWB era was seperate from the BTW era - same for ARTPOP.

People would be incredibly fed up of her after five months of promo and radio play, the album would bomb. It's only working for Marina as she's less played.

The album would have nothing to sustain itself after the release. It will debut then fall off the map shortly after.
