devoured-heart 21 Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 I think the reason why TFM worked so well for Gaga was the fact that it allowed her to delve into the darker more troubled side of her personality. In my opinion, for whatever reason, Gaga works extremely well when it comes to dark and disturbing material/imagery. Just looking at her physical appearance, clothing, performances, interludes etc during that era you can tell that Gaga and the Haus were pulling out all of the stops to create a solid and cohesive concept. TFM was the complete package in my eyes & I'm not sure going back to that album would be the best move thematically but yes I would love to see Gaga do another dark album. Time for something new and time to move on! Yes! Trying to re-create any previous work is a big mistake IMO. I don't want Gaga sitting down and focusing on writing another TFM.
