Hi everyone.

Thank you soo so much for your support and love this week.  It was the best ever.  I wrote out a better version of what happened with the interview the other day once I'd had sleep - so I its behind the cut.

Also wanted you to know I got www.live105.com to post a few more pictures... this one in particular of Linde just warms my heart, that's my baby boy next to him - trying not to swallow his tongue!

It was amazing... I spent the entire day in line with my friends and met new friends... I alternated between crying, gagging, obsessively rewriting my notes and laughing... there were even a few times when I would actually, not even kidding, forget to breath and my best friend just kept saying "honey... relax.... you're gonna have a stroke if you don't stop it!"

The big worry was whether or not all of us (both of my kids and my best friend) would be able to go back to do this or if it would just have to be me and one other person.... when we found out we could all go... we ALL screamed... haha.

When we first went backstage, Ville was busy so we got to hang out with the rest of the band... I told them I had tried to make them finnish cookies but it didn't come out and Mige said "well thats okay, finnish cookies taste like **** anyway" I laughed so hard... we stood there chatting for a while and then Ville came out and I, again, almost stroked out. I told him I'd baked the cookies but my friend who's a dj said rock stars NEVER eat whatever fans bake for them - Ville said "no no no, that's not true at all... we just have to make sure its not stuffed with weed! one time I bummed some cigarettes off of a fan because I was out of mine and it turns out they had PUT THE WEED IN THE MARLBOROS!! and what am I supposed to do with that? Go out on stage and sing all over the place? because I don't smoke weed so it would be terrible!" ...............oh my god it was so funny.

 

Then we said goodbye to the rest of the boys and went in to this big empty room for the interview. I was really at this point BEYOND nervous... when we sat down I felt retarded because my seat was higher than his and I'm already so fat all I could think of was that it would look like he was orbiting me! So I was scrambling through my notes and apologizing for being so nervous and I asked him if there was a certain way he wanted me to do it and he looks at me and says "no no, you're doing just fine... don't worry about it... just relax... you'll be great"

yep... how can you not move forward when you've just been reassured by Ville Valo himself?

So I went through the interview and got in extra questions. As I started to relax, I really was able to remember and bring up plenty of stuff off the top of my head - the extra stuff in the Kiss of Dawn video, the thing about the rings, the thing about sound checks (all I had written on the paper was "encore"), and the answer to HIS question (omg) about projekt revolution.

All of the obsessing and planning and preparing and worrying came together... and I was SO relieved. Then I gave him what I had brought for him. He LOVED the Boy George autobiography I gave him... It was so funny! He said "awww... I really like him, he's a nice man.... I know what I'll be reading on my christmas break" Then I gave him the present Kayla from Georgia had sent to me to give to him and the one Elizabeth from Minnesota had sent - and all of the letters the kids in the line that day wrote for him. He said he was really touched and thanked me more than once.

Then I asked him to sign my special edition Venus Doom and he did... he wrote "a zillion kisses and hugs" and drew me a picture.... sigh... then he signed autographs for both of the kids and my best friend and we took pictures. As we were getting up to leave, we stood up and I looked UP (gosh he's so lovely and tall) and I stammered on, unfortunately in the dorkiest way - "ummmm... would it be okay?...... uuuuhhh.......... do you do hugs?" he laughed and actually gave me a stern look! then he smiled and said "oh please, come on now..." and gathered me up into the best warmest hug.

At that point, Tom (their badass tour manager) took him off to show him where they thought the room was haunted and I took that as our hint to bounce out - I got about 10 steps away and doubled over... then started laughing and crying...

it was the best best time ever... the show was amazing the kids in line were amazing and our boys were amazing. I will never ever forget it or the fact that my friends at live105 just thought this up as a nice thing to do for me... they won't ever understand HOW amazing I think they are for doing it - but they certainly get cookies for life.

I loved him in this interview but, I cringed when she said I LOVE YOU!  Generally she was a bit TOO excited.
