Yeah idk why monsters keep saying "Promo promo promo" when all weve got is 4 performaces, an h&m commercial and thats it. She hasnt been on a magazine since the summer time. Cheek to cheek is a good album for the holidays but the promotion is not as amazing as monsters make it out to be. Therefore c2c is the most boring era along with ARTPOP. Fiendman 237 Posted December 10, 2014 Share Posted December 10, 2014 I said Born This Way, as after Christmas 2011, it was just tedious, nothing new happened while she was on tour really, and it went on for a long time. Early ARTPOP was so exciting, and aside from the DWUW fiasco and mini-blackout, there was never *much* tedium, just wasted potential. I think Cheek to Cheek is actually relatively exciting, she's making lots of appearances, steady stream of videos and live performances and she's generally got a good public presence with the album. She's open, tweets a lot again and always keeps us updated even when she's not working on her private life..not exactly promo but this is what makes it interesting to me. I love it, it's just not as exciting cheek to cheek because i didn't even know it began and is currently under-way. her most boring package altogether. the videos, the concept, the performances. total snoozefest. i just don't care. never been less invested in her since i got into her. no one can ever say the art pop era was boring because we got this ball of hilarity why is that funny tho. she was being genuine and she delivered with the guy video. if the song had been successful, she would have put out more videos too.
