And she had her hip surgery in Mid 2013. Professional ballet dancers usually go until early to mid 30s. Some longer than that. Many dancers of other disciplines, especially modern, lyrical, and jazz, often take ballet class regularly. It helps them in many ways. Gaga dances quite a bit in her performances. And just because you're not a professional ballerina dancing for the Bolshoi or the New York City ballet is no reason why you can't enjoy the exercise and artistry of dance.
