Divorce is hard enough, so if he did do that I could see her being seriously depressed. Maybe that's why she originally wanted to do a dark album. Good for her for pulling through. You don't have any decently to tell the person through the phone. The reason why I love PRISM so much and always defending it is because I was in her shoes. I was in a long term relationship and my ex just ended the relationship with a simple "over", then he blocked me on everything. I was so depress and wanted to die because I've never been that committed in a relationship and it hurts so much that he ended something after two years. He wasn't alone and then how he had been acting fell into place. First heartbreak and I felt suicidal. When they end it cruelly, you feel like nothing, like you mean nothing to them even as they are leaving you. To have someone you love not care about you anymore and leave you is devastating. You can't make them feel like they used to about you and how you still do about them. You are powerless. Like Katy said, not putting it into motion, but the pain I felt was horrible and unrelenting and probably technically had a nervous breakdown. The good news for you is now I can't ever remember loving him that much as two years later I met someone else and fell madly in love and the other relationship feels like a lifetime ago. I even saw him when he came into town and felt nothing. All it takes is new love to erase the old love and time. There is a quote Madonna once made after a broken heart that is meaningful during that kind of time. “Power is being told you're not loved and not being destroyed by it."
