Y'all already break a sweat trying to prove that ARTPOP's first week album sales were good/on par, but then you still have yet to prove the longevity of the era and the performances 

 

admit it, looking at all aspects, ARTPOP was an under-performance. To take a 2-3 year break after a very mediocre era is career overkill.

You guys are so needy and greedy when it comes to what Gaga does. Threads like these are irritating. She's not making a mistake by taking a break. All of her albums have been acknowledged by the GP and the exaggeration of 'how bad' ARTPOP's sales were is something you'd only see on pop forums or Tumblr :roll: ARTPOP's sales were on par with every other album that was released. I fail to see how it 'flopped' but then managed to produce a high grossing tour. 

 

If the GP wasn't interested in her then ARTPOP wouldn't have even gone #1. Same goes for Cheek to Cheek. The amount of whining on this forum is out of hand It's like you think she's some robot who's supposed to chug out an album every year. She's allowed to take breaks.

 

I swear, some of ya'll actin' like you'll stop listening to her forever since she's not releasing an album next year but we all know you'll be back here kissing her ass when the news of her next album drops

On par with others, far from on par with her own releases, which had already been lowered expectations by industry a--lysts for first-week sales and she even underperformed that number.  Still very popular, but definitely a significant decline for her.

Gaga actually fixed her previous mistakes. When the ARTPOP songs started to come and when for example DWUW came everyone was so excited and confident that Gaga was going to slay. The so called "problem" was that Gaga wanted to do things her own way and not just slay the charts with some hit single with basic music video. She wanted to make statements about her haters and rumours etc.. She wanted to make it more complicated and more "art". This imo caused some conflicts with her and her label because label knew Gaga could make more money with being more simple pop chick.

Everyone knows that Gaga could be a puppet to her label and make number one songs and slay the whole pop world anytime she wanted. Now with this jazz album Gaga has proved to be succesful without being so fake and plastic.

And isnt it better Gaga now slays the charts with the music she loves to do and it doesnt feel to her like she is forced to do it? I think

I completely agree. I mean she has so many unreleased ARTPOP tracks. She could easily put a new album together and release it late 2015..

 

Maybe she doesn't wanna put together an album of ARTPOP outtakes for it to be her fifth solo studio album

 

EDIT: plus if the next album is done in 2016, that's really short of a time space between albums 5 and 6

you completely left out C2C. That is huge with the GP now. Sure it's not the same type of publicity, but it is setting her apart. It is doing something that NONE of the others done. In 20 years when Rihanna doesn't have her body, XTina is long gone, Brit is basically Cher, and Katy loses the voice she doesn't even have, she will have jazz. Gaga has the voice that the others lack (except XTina)... REAL LEGIT TALENT! Gaga can take as many breaks as she wants, but she will never loose her talent.

We will see, but it's her choice, her career, her life. I hope she will come back strong, with an good album (i don't care for the charts), if not, some other biatch will take her place one day ^^

My first comment here was just to state I don't think this is the main problem in regard of Gaga's success decline and pointed out how comparing Gaga and Xtina's success might be subjective. I didn't even suggested who is more successful than the other and a guy came to me treating me like his worst enemy. They get on my nerves I overreact.

 

I couldn't do what you've been doing, by clocking so many pressed stans with reciepts without going out of your mind, when they are the first ones to act up rude!
