Furthermore, she is touring with it next year with the legend Tony Bennett. I get that it's not your cup of tea, I get that you feel entitled to more 4/4 beat pop music with the same structure in each song. I get it. But you cannot continue to discredit the enormous success and popularity of this album with Tony. It is clearly a "main" album, otherwise there wouldn't have been the promo budget, deals & endorsements. It DOES "count" even with no airplay. Who decided for an album to "count" as an album, it had to get airplay? Who has a tv special & so much hype around a "side project"? Who gets grammy nominated for a "side project"? Nobody. I'm just about sick and tired of the pure disrespect around c2c from fans that are going back on their word about supporting Gaga. Fine, don't support her with this, but there's no reason to try and drag it down to the level of inferiority that you wish it had. Its about time you started looking at facts as facts. An album is an album and one day you'll have to learn to live with the fact that Gaga is not a one dimensional pop music puppet. She is a musician and like all of us, she is interested in more than one subject in her life. I really wish I could knock some peoples heads together. dude I am not even tryong to come for C2C I didn't even mention the album till other uses did it this thread was about her big amount of blackouts and not C2C :toofloppy: Back To Basics was a big success though. Back To Basics was a hit tho. Xtina only started flopping when she released Bionic and that was for a multitude of reasons that has been discussed and evaluated to death. never said it wasn't Hahahah you are comparing katy and britney who are not involved in the production...you know that gaga wrote songs for britney right? They just "sing" songs others are giving to them 1. Katy writes her songs and so did Britney for one album (and this thread wasn't about that) 2. Really? Are they not doing anything at the moment, because you are here most of the time complaining about Gaga and C2C. Are they not doing enough to keep you occupied? C2C is an album that is getting a exposure, promotion and is still in the top 20 to 30. It has given Gaga a certain level of newfound respect by many in the music community, including a Grammy for the album in the category it qualifies in. It's okay if it isn't to your liking, but your opinion isn't everyone else's opinion- not the fans, the general music public, or the music industry! She hasn't showed enough that she is a real musician, that she have feelings and a good voice. THATS's her problem. Because you can be big in two ways: The people see and feel that you are a real artist, a real musician - they feel your heart and feelings in the music. 2nd way: You work with hitmakers, wo writes lyrics for you and make catchy hitsingles, they know what the trends are. Gagas problem: She hadn't make the first enough ( bunch of people don't know anything about her talents, she haven't touched them with EDM ) and the second is not an opportunity ( she made dance-pop which was in trend, but she never used hitmakers but underground producers and no names and and has even produced by herself. Some of her unreleased stuff is fantastic and should be out. We could have two great new albums just from her unreleased stuff. And C2C is a real album and Era.
