NewYorkCity 10,536
C2C IS a "main Gaga album" it has had enormous amounts of promo & most people are aware of it. Furthermore, she is touring with it next year with the legend Tony Bennett. I get that it's not your cup of tea, I get that you feel entitled to more 4/4 beat pop music with the same structure in each song. I get it. But you cannot continue to discredit the enormous success and popularity of this album with Tony. It is clearly a "main" album, otherwise there wouldn't have been the promo budget, deals & endorsements. It DOES "count" even with no airplay. Who decided for an album to "count" as an album, it had to get airplay? Who has a tv special & so much hype around a "side project"? Who gets grammy nominated for a "side project"? Nobody. I'm just about sick and tired of the pure disrespect around c2c from fans that are going back on their word about supporting Gaga. Fine, don't support her with this, but there's no reason to try and drag it down to the level of inferiority that you wish it had. Its about time you started looking at facts as facts. An album is an album and one day you'll have to learn to live with the fact that Gaga is not a one dimensional pop music puppet. She is a musician and like all of us, she is interested in more than one subject in her life. I really wish I could knock some peoples heads together. HANZ 4,380
again how do you compare britney spears with gaga lmfao she doesnt even wrote any of the albums thats why she released them in 1 year. Gaga is involved in production, writing process, vocals fixing and all of those things that take time. we are not discussing that we are talking about doing SOMETHING to keep you in the map and britney and katy have definitely done that better as you can see they were doing something big every year gaga can take her time to make good music but it doesn't matter the reason, Blackout do hurt your career bedtime stories, Erotica and american life were a lot of things but not SLAYAGE (for the time they were released)... But if you want to go by the present, watch Beyonce's calendar, or we can talk when Adele releases her next album. 2003 2006 I am sasha fierce: 2008 4: 2011 worst than ARTPOP in terms of relevance... Beyonce: Slayage 7 years later. It is not only about dates... there are a lot of things going on. And Gaga is the best artist of her generation. I know that she will do it. but again things were different then than they are now plus she was Madonna, she didn't really have a competition and she was something new now we live in a digital era were people could use you one year and completely forget about you the next one, plus there's a lot of STRONG competition right now My Favs = Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Ricky Martin, AKB48

Whispering 18,865
Just like the rest of the world and even a big part of her fans already forgot about it C2C was at #26 last week and will be back in the top 20 next week. It was just mentioned in tons of music media publications and on sites as a favorite in a Grammy category. Hundreds of members of the music industry just voted that it be considered for a Grammy. Fans are buying tickets to the C2C concerts, so much so that they are having to add shows in some places. You may have a very narrow music appreciation, but that doesn't mean everyone else in the world feels the same. There is more music in the world than pop singles from pop girls that you can "pop your p***y to". Go find some other pop tart to satisfy your needs. That's what you said you were going to do last time you went on and on about C2C, (just last week), but yet here you are...again, whining and complaining about the same music and the same things a week later! Whispering 18,865
No they are not. Yes, they are. They were songs that didn't make the cut. They aren't getting released as an album.
Essence 232
I think there are a lot more factors to take in. I get where you're coming from, but things are definitely different.

drinkmytears 2,332
Back To Basics was a big success though.
RBNLM 1,640
Hahahah you are comparing katy and britney who are not involved in the production...you know that gaga wrote songs for britney right? They just "sing" songs others are giving to them
Tropico 4,145
The Fame 2008 The Fame Monster 2009 Born This Way 2011 ARTPOP 2013 Cheek to Cheek 2014 Next album 2016 Seems about right by the standards of any major label artist, in fact Gaga releases far more frequently than other artists. Katy Perry for example, is only on her third album. It's unfair to expect Gaga to release albums more often, considering she has already given us so much in such a short amount of time. Any more and she would be releasing albums like Rihanna, which would get her even more criticism. Preach. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
Brooke Candy 3,970
why should she if she doesn't want to... for some reason those songs never made the final cut of ARTPOP... I'd rather wait the time for a full album full of good music. I'm not forcing her. Bye. buy 'Paper or Plastic' by Brooke candy on iTunes NOW!! Whispering 18,865
There were simply too many songs to put on 1 album. So gaga wanted to save the rest ( The best ones) for act 2.The way gaga spoke about Onion Girl, Tinnitus, In like With You, says enough. She said those songs are soooo good and that she couldn't wait for her fans to hear them. Nope. She never said they were the best ones. If the rejects are that great, they will make the next album in 2016. I'm betting we never see them as an official release. The best you can hope for is a couple of demo leaks. Jesse Pinkman 4,660
Back To Basics was a hit tho. Xtina only started flopping when she released Bionic and that was for a multitude of reasons that has been discussed and evaluated to death. :rip: It's science, bitch
