I don't think it would work. HIV is in straight people already, and it is rampant among straight populations in Africa.

HIV comes somewhere from Africa and there is no proof that it comes from homos-xual people ? Like what ? And gays are more prone to contract it just because of a--l s-x, there is no genetical predisposition or whatever that would make gays the cause of its spreading  :hor: people are so dumb  :toofloppy:

You can not hide if nobody pays attention to you :*

i think a better step towards finding the cure for aids would be for his blood to be upon him :koons:

This is exactly the problem with religion, you can be a good person without religion, but the way you convince good people do do evil things is through religion.

People turn to these sort of religious leaders for moral guidance and we see again and again how much these churches fail in providing a contemporary moral framework.

What kind of bullshiit. You can be atheist and still evil

Yes you can. I wouldn't say otherwise.

There are evil atheists, but it doesn't stem from their atheism.

There isn't some universal moral code in atheism that is used to convince people that homos-xuality is wrong, or that you should mutilate a child's genitals or that you should sacrifice animals and/or humans.

I mean, who would mutilate a child's genitals if not because of the belief in some higher power commanding it? There are good people in the world being corrupted into doing atrocious things because they think it is divinely warranted.

In a secular society, morality can be discussed, challenged and debated. You can reason about what is right and wrong. It isn't set in stone.

:rip: Choosing circumcision as your example of "religious evil", really? It is no more "mutilation" than piercing ears or getting tattoos, and more importantly it has been a part of the Abrahamic religions and those entire cultures for thousands of years. It has been completely normalized. It doesn't disable the child or cause any lasting damage. Countless millions have lived their whole lives as happily circumcised men.

Bad example! Choose something better next time!

It's not a bad example? It's downright misleading to compare circumcision to piercings and tattoos because individuals who participate in those two activities chose that of their own free will, not forced upon them as children. If an adult wants to be circumcised when they have the mental capacity to choose that for themselves then sure, who cares. But a child does not have that option and that's where it is wrong. And yes circumcision can have overreaching negative affects.

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
