Because we should respect the others' opinions and sometimes pay attention to them because GP>a small fanbase. I don't say that other artists have no haters, but let's take Beyonce, Taylor, Katy, why people don't avoid listening to them, but this happens only to Gaga? In some way, she certainly did seek attention - Swine performance and most of her earlier career. But not any longer. And anyway, there's nothing wrong with seeking attention, everyone wants it, especially people with depression like Gaga.
