I think she definitely wanted to put even more screeching on ARTPOP like the demo of Aura but her label didn't want her to

Maybe she's rebelling against that  :rockstar:

It works quite a lot of the time though, I really enjoy it sometimes. I don't want her to sing exactly like she does on the album, it makes it interesting and diverse.

I think it's mainly something she does in the heat of the moment tbh...

She could do it less, but it's up to her.

I don't mind either way.

Get what you mean tho

It's definitely the direction she's heading towards with the next album, and I love it

The screamo vocals in AURA demo slay the rest of the album tbh

Yes, her voice was quite aggressive on tour and it isn't to everyone's taste. It crunches through the sound systems in quite a jarring way. I don't have a problem with the actual sound of it but I am concerned that she could be damaging her vocal chords. I hope this break from high energy vocals with the C2C tour and a gap between the next album and tour is going to take her voice back to normal as it can't be good for her to do all this belting. To hear the decline in the voices of the once-powerhouses like Whitney and Mariah makes me afraid of Gaga going the same way. Her voice puts her above other popstars (the only ones she could stand a battle against is Beyonce and Xtina) and is one of her finest assests and she can't lose it.

Her screaming and screeching on "Donatella" and "What's Up" is perfect :legend:

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.
