Applause and G.U.Y. are two of her best videos and they **** all over most other Gaga videos (with all due respect to all other videos). So what if we got only 2 videos. The Fame Monster also had just 3 videos. However ARTPOP era videos are a step up from BTW era videos. I'd say The Fame was the leadt good era for videos. TFM is the best era for videos, followed by ARTPOP era at the 2nd spot. BTW is at #3 and The Fame is 4th. Paparazzi was the only epic released that era. Wet Fire 7,519 Posted November 29, 2014 Share Posted November 29, 2014 To those who saying G.U.Y. is messy or disjointed or puzzling, Alejandro is the definition of a disjointed video, although I stan for its visuals. MTN was epic since the beginning but when the actual song starts, the effort seems to go down a bit. TEOG isn't bad at all. It's quite great just for being straight-forward and simple. Judas was a masterpiece, BTW was amazing too, though it had a similar issue like MTN. I love all the BTW era videos so much. But no way ARTPOP is the worst era video-wise. The fact that people voted for ARTPOP when Applause and G.U.Y. are two of the best videos of her entire career. The fact that even one person voted for The Fame Monster. All of the music videos feel like they're missing something. I think it's got a lot to do with Gaga directing them herself. I'm not sure what they're lacking to keep them from being the phenomenal videos they could've been, but there's definitely something lacking in each video besides Born This Way. I would argue that it's actually the strongest and most effective video from that era, and I give Nick Knight's direction a lot of the credit for that. Even as great as Judas and Yoü and I are (I think they're the best from the era along with Born This Way), there's some kind of "it" factor missing from them, TEOG (obviously), and Marry the Night. I'm not saying the videos are bad by any means, they still s*** on almost every other artist's videos, but they don't even come close to the video from The Fame, The Fame Monster, and ARTPOP.
