Nino 12
some monsters, NOT "many" This is a huge a fanbase, even a small percentage of us is still a large number of people that like to remind the world they think c2c is the lowest point of Gaga's career every 5 minutes. :mess:
ModernEcstasy 9,096
I don't think we hate C2C. It's just that it seems like the era is going to last longer than the majority of us hoped and we are thirsty for some proper gaga music.
Lona Delery 7,216
I don't see much negativity tbh, I only see threads/posts like this one Most monsters here like it as much as I have seen Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride
Bambino 24,314
But we can blame them for screaming their harsh opinions everytime someone even briefly thinks about c2c. ARTPOP as an era was disappointing to them and C2C isn't doing it for them It's subjective imo. Everyone has different tastes.
thefamebitch 834
I think there is a difference in the people who seem to dislike it. The first group of people seem to simply not enjoy jazz music, but respect and enjoy the fact that Gaga is loving it and that she is really good at it; jazz just isn't their thing. Then there's a second group that seems to just endlessly b---h about everything not being what they want, whether it be the fact that there is a jazz era entirely or anything in between; they will not be satisfied and just simply don't appreciate the efforts that Gaga has put in. As for me, I think Cheek to Cheek is a great idea between album cycles opposed to the normal endless waiting. I feel like some members don't get it. Like if there wasn't Cheek to Cheek, there would be nothing for you to look forward to at all except for an album coming soon. For those who have been around a while, just remember what soon really means in Lady Gaga's terms. So be happy theres something in between cause if there wasn't it would be a very long and incredibly annoying wait. You don't have to enjoy it wholeheartedly at all, nobody is saying that. Just be a little more positive and happy that Gaga is still out there getting headlines, doing work, putting on performances, gaining great critical acclaim and selling albums/tickets yet again even while she's working on her next pop-effort (regardless if she has a jazz era right now). Reno 79
My guess is it's because of the changes in music style from pop to jazz and how she performs, those who became fans of Gaga back then are used to see her acting... well... crazy (but not in a bad way) during the performances, like most of her You and I performances and i guess fans have this image of Gaga in their head and expect something like that in C2C also, but instead when she sings with Tony she stays calm and classy, she took a very different path from where she was, and i'm guessing that's why many monsters are dissapointed, just because it was't something that they expected from her. Lady 748
Sad how so many fans can't enjoy Gaga just singing but need show and theatre around her all the time. I find her singing jazz so refreshing and fabulous cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE her voice and her stage presence even when she's just standing there. BUT I do know that many do enjoy C2C and are really happy about Gaga showing this side of herself

It's just that it seems like the era is going to last longer than the majority of us hoped and we are thirsty for some proper gaga music. It's not like c2c is making the wait longer for her next pop/rock/experimental hip-hop/seapunk/screamo album though, it's just filling up the time while we wait. Gaga Ate My Ass 173
I think most monsters really like it. She released an amazing #1 jazz record and showcased her talents to the world. Those who don't like it probably still listen to Will.I.Am and David Guetta, so... #byefelicia What a idiotic generalization. Not surprised.
