Elizabeth 450
Just come out of the cinema after watching it and it's a pretty good film. However I do think it's a bit slow in parts because obviously it's the first half of the film so most of the action will take part in the second half. I enjoyed it but it's my least favourite out of the three.

Teal Ambition 47,805
Wow thats such a low score. I saw the movie on premiere day and it was beyond amazing! Those reviews are probably written by idiots, everyone at the movies kept praising Mockingjay so.. ▌│█║▌║▌║ before I am Canadian, I am Chromatican ║▌║▌║█│▌

ManuelColon 702
The books does not have enough material to be split into two movies, i saw it yesterday and noticed a couple of stuff that were so not necessary. I'm a fan of the serie but when i see i movie i prefer to think as a critic more than a fan boy
EdgeofTeeth 1,934
I haven't seen it yet, but I hope it's better than The Hunger Games. Catching Fire was flawless, but something about THG was just underwhelming to me...
heavymlover 340
In my opinion the two part thing was unnecessary, just like Breaking Dawn (worst book in the series, and that says a lot). They managed to make a decent film, but in my opinion not much happens in the first half of the book.
RAMROD 109,631
After watching the movies, granted that each people's taste are different. The film is really good, and I know I am not tge only one who think and feel this way. Of course they save most actions for the finale. They need to go out with a bang in the end. But this part 1 of it did enough justice and got pretty good things going on too. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
Alphaz 7,956
I hate the fact they split it into two parts as well, ain't nobody got time to wait another year for closure
ryhanna 3,507
Yelp. I haven't seen it yet but I've been nervous about it just because Mockingjay was (in my opinion) the weakest book of the series (despite having the strongest storyline) and splitting it didn't sit well with me. But that being said, I've always felt that the book was the most ambitious and would translate so much better to a film than a young adult novel. It's pretty close to 70 percent fresh, anywhere in the 50's or lower is concerning, imo.
lucia4 0
Rottentomatoes.com scores The Hunger Games: 84% Catching Fire: 89% Mockingjay Part 1: 67% Why the sudden drop? Has anyone here seen it yet? What did you think? I watched Mockingjay Part 1 and was very disappointed. And I'm not even a fan of the series, I was just going in excepting a "good" movie. It wasn't imo. It had some great moments, but it drags on without any proper build-up. I can't even remember how the movie ended and I watched it 4 days ago. Basically the entire movie is about Jennifer Lawrence shooting propaganda clips to fire a rebellion, while the capitol does the same with Peeta. That's it. Eventually she doesn't want to make the propaganda clips anymore, Peeta shows up and *something* happens. I'm all for story over action (I really don't like action movies) but it just didn't work well here. Even if you have a drama story you need SOMETHING to happen. Some emotional hook. There was nothing here. My friends didn't like it at all either and I heard some "okay... .that's it?" kinda replies in the audience. Also people laughed (including me) during a scene that was supposed to be emotionally shocking at the end, lol. I have high hopes for the last movie, though. Benji 20,113
I've heard quite a few people say it's boring compared to the previous two but I guess it's kind of a given when you split a book, I mean the author purposely chose to write three books so splitting their finale in two always feels a little anti-climatic. MelbHawker 6,583
I personally didn't like the character change in Peeta. I haven't read the books. It annoyed me SO much. The film was good, but the first 2 were much better.
