You really don't know the difference between one of the most phenomenal voices to ever sing a Pop song and Rihanna? I do agree with your general premise, though. A respected singer/perforner doesn't have to write their own songs. However, they need to bring something to the table, in order to be an artist. I believe Rihanna does that. You missunderstood. What I wanted to say that they both have singing talent and they don't write a lot. I didn't compare the talent itself. She is just like Britney .Both write 1-2 songs in every album..There are real songwriters like Taylor Swift,Gaga,Adele or even Madonna who write all of their songs but she's the main writter of Pour It Up so she can write an urban hit single. end of story.
