lego 44,165
What u guys don't understand is that Gaga is a performance artist even when she's promoting a frangance she's performing the meaning of the frangance... She was portraying the typical famous person who was beautiful and shallow, Beautiful on the outside but dark on the inside just like the perfume, it smells good but its dark... ARTPOP was about love and the love for art so she was mother teresa or u know its just the weed too :madge: I also thought all these interviews were an act, performance art, because it's FAME. She wasn't suppose to be all down to earth and relatable. I'm wondering if the hosts knew in advance or at all. FreePalestine

Wet Fire 7,896
I like CTC era Gaga the most. She looks so happy and beautiful. Anyway, Fame era Gaga was flawless though. The wig, the headpieces, the ornaments, the attitude - everything was amazing.
Guest
Hearing her talk about her plans for ARTPOP makes me heart drop...she had so much she wanted to do that was never able to come into fruition. :emo: And I don't like when people write off Eau de Gaga as her going back on her word and just releasing another perfume for some quick cash. The genderless perfume idea is just as innovative and connected to her past work as the black liquid idea.
MonsterRocket 55
Where's that interview? Any links? I can never find it
Elizabeth 564
I feel like she was perma-high at this time....even so, I do absolutely think that this 'persona' she adopted was mostly done purposely to convey a certain attitude in relation to the perfume and its meanings. I think it was perfect for the perfume campaign. There's even one interview in France, where they show a little bit from before they start the interview and she says something along the lines of "if I don't look at you whilst I'm speaking, it's because I'm performing for the camera".
