Goosey 3,017
If someone is fasely convicted, that's bad... but if they did throw rocks... well, a rock is a lethal weapon, naturally throwing rocks at people will result in prison, at the least. I'd say any actual rock throwers should just consider themselves lucky they weren't shot dead on the spot! lego 44,165
If someone is fasely convicted, that's bad... but if they did throw rocks... well, a rock is a lethal weapon, naturally throwing rocks at people will result in prison, at the least. I'd say any actual rock throwers should just consider themselves lucky they weren't shot dead on the spot! Repulsive. These are minors under the age of criminal responsibility. The fact that you would shoot a two year old for throwing pebbles from the roof at soldiers with helmets and protective gear; the fact that 9 year olds "coloured stones" were in fact candy but he was harassed because of his name. Your hate knows no limits. And the fact that you're also a gun and knife lover, it's really scary.According to a 2013 report by the UN's Children's Fund, Israel is the only country in the world where children are systematically tried in military courts and subjected to "cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment." Over the past decade, Israeli forces have arrested, interrogated, and prosecuted around 7,000 children between 12 and 17, mostly boys, at a rate of "an average of two children each day," UNICEF said. EXCXSXE 0
I haven't seen posts about your anti-settlement opinion, would you link me to those? I know you say you try to see both sides, but is it really like that in practice? For example in this thread alone I haven't seen any words of condemnation nor disgust for the obvious child abuse and mistreatment which is illegal under international law, but immediate attempt to dismiss me as a biased one and pulling out wiki links and ''it's Hamas' fault'' mantra. I can see from your comments that you haven't even read the article nor did you watch the videos. You don't have to apologize. I don't care about wrong assumptions. I'm neither Palestinian nor Arab. I think it's enough to be human to care about justice for the oppressed ones. I know many from Israeli/American Jews to European Christians/atheists who care about this cause and who are doing a lot more than I'm able to do. I read and watched the videos. Check another source. Read an Israeli one even if you disagree with it. Try to see both sides. It would do you so much good. It makes you much smarter and gives you a better understanding of what's going on. I'm not only talking about this thread, but all of your threads. Consider this: I wrote to you urging you to try to see both sides. You write back attacking me, and trying even harder to force your opinion on me and this thread. You are a propagator of conflict. Volatile, defensive, stubborn, and with opinions so deeply embedded that your presence on a "DISCUSSION" board is laughable. You spread your rage around here like you're doing everyone a favour while you're actually doing the opposite. You are not helping the Israeli people. You are not helping the Palestinian people. You are trying to gain support for your side of the argument in the most selfish way possible, as your threads have nothing to do with a solution, and everything to do with gaining sympathy for Palestinians and anger against Israel. EXCXSXE 0
I also can't find either of these quotes on any UN website... Only middle eastern news websites, and a couple blogs. There is no any sort of attack on you personally, it's just a product of your imagination. The Israeli source is already posted, it's B'Tselem.org ; but you would maybe prefer for me to find pro-Zionist one? Palestinian side doesn't need any sympathy, but actions and breaking of silence. Israel has big allies and their media doesn't allow Palestinian side to show almost at all, it was evident in recent Gaza massacre. I don't see you or anyone else with your view offering solution. Like it's that easy. Going against warmonger governments. You can skip my threads and posts in future, if they bother you so much. Just shows your argument can't stand on its own if you have to resort to these irrelevant straw man attacks. A 2-year-old can't throw stones, these kids were not throwing stones, and I never said I would shoot some kid throwing stones. I said they should consider themselves lucky Israelis don't shoot them for throwing stones. And if some 16-year-old Palestinian ne'er-do-well is throwing stones at soldiers' heads, LOCK HA UP! It's not attack, it's an observation. Your obsession with guns, wargames, shooting and killing in your posts is very disturbing. And they are not "lucky", as Israeli soldier shooting a child with live bullets is not uncommon. It happened recently. The fact that he cannot prove if the child DID indeed throw anything or that his life was in danger doesn't matter. In most cases it's just "we will investigate", so it's either prison to 15-20 years or death for those kids, nothing for that soldier. Lucky them. uo111 5,282
Your definition of abuse is really lax if you consider driving a child to his house abuse. And if you believe that the use of child suicide bombers only 9 years ago () gives the Israels no excuse to be wary even of children, you are beyond unreasonable. This is a time of war and the Israels aren't being violent at all. The fact that Palestinian people are letting their children throw rocks at armed soldiers is much more despicable. There is no excuse for involving your children in an armed conflict. Lastly, the title of the article is completely false, which the article itself confirms. It's obviously biased and this event likely never even happened.

Throwing rocks happens in demonstrations, which again start because of Israeli land grab, demolishing people's homes, burning their olive trees, making space for NEW illegal settlements. The people under illegal occupation have every right to resistance. It's interesing how you dismiss everything as false in this story, but do you have anything to say about treating of the kids in videos on 1st page? It's from an Israeli information center for human rights. Are they false too? Is UNICEF report false? I posted link above. Do you think true information comes only from Fox? Just curious. A truce doesn't automatically mean peace. Not in the real world. I can dismiss a sketchy story as false. That has nothing to do with reality. The treatment of minors by Israels may not be adequate but it is not baseless. And please stop hurling immature insults. It will make people who believe everything you post start to question themselves. And you don't want that.

I didn't break any rule and so far mods and admins have been very kind and understanding. I'm not commenting on what you said because you're not even having a discussion... You're here to yell at people who disagree with you. Notice also that several other people have commented on your personal attacks... Why does every thread you create revolve around children if you're not trying to gather sympathy? Its a cheap shot in an obvious grey area because the vast majority of these "children" are 17-18 year olds who can be tried as adults, and were committing violent crimes. You can b---h about transparency all you want, but if you think the Hamas are anymore transparent than the IDF you're totally ****ed. It may not be a time of war, but Palestinian terrorists are active in Israel right now, something you obviously don't make threads about. I make sure I read media from both sides every time there's a new development. My country offered plenty from both sides, something I think is crucial to solving the problem. How can you not see that? Can I get some acknowledgement from you that there are two sides to this? Btw you claimed a silence problem and cited an Israeli source in the same post... And please stop hurling immature insults. It will make people who believe everything you post start to question themselves. And you don't want that. THIS. Totally counterproductive. You need to discuss this in a calm manor, or it alienates people from educating themselves and forming their own opinion.
theMonster5 74
Where do the kids get the idea of throwing stones at Israeli soldiers? From their elders perhap. So maybe the elders use the kids to throw stones at Israeli soldiers thinking their young age would not get them in trouble. Anyway, all Israelis and Palestinians are circumcised and share this ancient ritual so they're brothers of the unforeskin and should get along well (hopefully).
