The differences in opinion etc. is part of being human. If there really was a god, why the hell would he make us go through life before going to heaven/hell if he knows where we're going anyways? if there was a god, he'd probably know what human psychology is and would know that religions will divide humans due to opinion. It turns out that morons often confuse the teaching of simple, objective facts, with endorsement of them. It's the same kind of "thinking" behind abstinence-only education, for example -- teaching kids facts about s-x = encouraging them to have it, in the mind of a moron (never mind that the reality is completely the opposite).
