Ronk 14,762
People who hate her will still hate her. Many will not still hate her. I know several people who never liked Gaga ... never. But C2C has changed their minds completely. C2C will change hears and minds of many people. I live outside the space time continuum.

Emvee 8,401
I think they are fans, but theyre casual fans. Theyre the type of fans who will like a song or one album, but would have no problem dropping Gaga if she does something they dont like, which is ok. This is still good. Tbh, Gaga satisfying her fan base is not only something we should still be celebrating, it should be the MOST important thing we should be celebrating. LaLuna 12,732
Some of you are so cynical If you go to PBS's Facebook page and read the comments, you will see that the majority of them are from middle-aged or older people who are clearly not fans. Let me quote a few: -Jane Wurtsbaugh It certainly changed my opinion of Lady Gaga -Vonne Hutto I love Tony Bennett, but I am not a Lady Gaga fan. I really loved the show. She actually has a beautiful voice -Susan F. Meyer It was fabulous! Tony is always great but Lady Gaga as this type of singer is at her best. Normally, I wouldn't care for her but without the crazy outfits and make up she was beautiful and her voice great. They are quite a pair! Of course some of the commenters are fans, but that was to be expected. The bottom line is, people are finally waking up to how talented Gaga is, why can't you just rejoice instead of being so negative? I swear this fanbase sometimes... :madge:
PopBitch 1,218
The GP? These are older people who don't care about her other work anyway. You act like the GP are one collective mind. The GP who turned their back on her for ARTPOP or before and are pop fans or just younger fans of music that aren't in to her anymore have nothing to do with older Jazz fans buying Tony Bennett and Gaga's jazz album praising her. The GP situation is much more complex than that. We all know there's no 'GP' in reality. Each person is unique and different. But the concept of GP is much more oriented towards marketing and PR. The fact that many non-fans are waking up to her talent is a very good sign. It means many people in the US changed their opinion about her. This will help magazines and news outlets paint a better picture of her. News outlets just print what they think the 'gp' (that is, their average reader) will buy. Bashing Gaga and bringing her down has been a trend for far too long, because she was too succesful with too little substance. People paid to read bad things about her. Now that she's doing this I wouldn't be surprised if most people are here for this side, so news outlets will talk better about her. And THAT'S what will change the 'GP' perception of her. So all in all this is the beginning of something great for Gaga  Oh, I'm just visiting-
