What do you want people's first thought to be with that title? You highlighted the SHIRTLESS aspect rather than the informative and riveting article. Don't send people one direction just to expect them to go the other.

Yeah that was my initial mistake, but I edited the OP after like 5 mins! The text is now bolded and underlined.

If there wasn't the TV SHOW he wouldn't be going ANY shirtless photo shoots.

And you wouldn't be so close to cardiac failure.

Really now, do try to remain calm. Maybe you should've clarified this in the OP to those of us that aren't avid followers of all things Jonas (Not Akerlund, he's awesome). Just a brief little paragraph before the hormones took over and ejaculated shirtless photos all over the place. That's all it would've taken to avoid this mess.

But the fact is that the title pretty much gives the assumption that the thread is about the photos. Which it is.

(OMG we're like back to back quoting and getting confused)

So is he a musician or a TV star? Or both? And which one of these caused him to lose his shirt?

I just find it really odd that half of you are basically crucifying him because he DARED to be shirtless like 2 times in a magazine yet no one bats an eye when every other pop girl is half naked ALL THE TIME.

this...

His career is basically the career of Miley Cyrus.

He had a Disney show where he was a singer and now he is releasing his solo album as an adult.

He was a guest on a few tv shows but this is his first one where he has the lead role.

and FYI I do partly agree with you, of course he is being shirtless for promotion but can you blame him? Everybody does it.

He's so gorgeous - I've always had a thing for him. I can't understand all the hate in this thread - STFU phags. If you walked in to your room and that was on your bed your legs would be open within .3 of millisecond. Get it, Nick J.

To the people saying his career relies on him taking off clothes.. I cannot. I cannot with the stupidity.

I don't see how him posing topless, in a world which millions of guys go around topless every day, is seeking attention. Baring in mind you get women on the front of magazines doing much much worse. Sexism at it's best

The people that do it usually have bodies that are totally 100% up there in the 'unachievable for normal people' god-like aisle. Nick Jonas isn't there yet. Yet.

I do admire his pushing the boundaries of gender stereotypes in the media, though. He was basically doing softcore **** in that other magazine, which women do all the time. He's playing to his market... but I don't think this will go well.

Miley Cyrus. Pretty much. That's the annoyance factor. Average body, nothing to rave about, yet getting her bits out at all chances.

But one does not even need to be hot to expose their bodies as they wish

In a photoshoot in a magazine, it's polite not to look like Miley Cyrus.

Actually, no, it's polite not to judge people's bodies like that. If Nick (or Miley) have the confidence to be half-naked, why not let them be? It's not like we're forced to look at it anyway

The main reason why he and his managment decided to go on this path  - he posted a shirtless pic on instagram  and EVERYONE went crazy about it. It was discussed on TV, magazines and of course all over the internet.

And yeah, I forgot to mention he is diabetic.

If they don't want to be judged, don't expose yourself in such a way to be judged. These photographs were clearly taken for beauty purposes.
