I'm glad she pointed out Gwen's little Koons sculptures and her use of the word ARTPOP. I've followed pop culture for many many years and that term was not around or creating any kind of impact before Gaga brought it o the forefront of pop culture. Are there really that many trolls on here? I can't believe how many of these b---hes are snagging up her ideas and the worst part is her "fans", which none of you really are, are just b---hy little queens worried about what other fan bases think when you should be defending Gaga's work and legacy, you know, the one she made for you... ARTPOP is her concept, for fuucks sake she has a Koons globe on her album cover and it's called ARTPOP. She is still on freaking tour and Gwen is sitting over here selling knock off Koons sculptures and calling them ARTPOP. I was hoping I could take a break from GGD and come back less annoyed, but literally in less than two log ins I am once again over you little whiny sniveling kunts. Before anyone tries to quote me and "come from me", I have a master's degree in art history and I'd rather not argue about something that a simple google/wiki search could easily explain. Anyway... Gwen Stefani is a pretty educated person when it comes to visuals; I mean, she has a fashion empire at this point. I suppose if she wanted to say Pop Art was her influence, she would have. Pop Art is a common term and I don't think that she got confused, but who knows. And I even further doubt that she was referencing "Art Pop" music like Kate Nash, or Bjork considering (as far as I know) they have nothing to do with balloon art, which is the specific visual that she was discussing here. At any rate, it's not a big deal for Gaga to be proud of this little moment. Let them drag her on ATRL, but to see it here is kinda disappointing. Before Gaga, I don't think the idea/concept of "ARTPOP" had been publicly expressed as such. Pop art is one thing, and ARTPOP is Gaga's take on it, so she's in all her right to take ownership.
