She has some great videos (Paparazzi, Bad Romance, Alejandro...) but a lot of her works since BTW are really hit or miss imo. I can't tell you how much I hate the GUY video, the setting is amazing and there was so much potential that she ruined with a poor storyline/filming/editing. Like, girl, stop pretending you can direct a video and all, because you obivously can't (well, in my eyes at least). She can do better. MonsterRocket 55 Posted October 17, 2014 Share Posted October 17, 2014 i definitely feel like she revitalized the emphasis on the art of music videos, along with album booklets, presentation, things like that, because lets face it, in the digital world, people are caring less and less about those things, but because gaga used that as opportunity to make great works of art, she made it a big deal. whats funny now is a lot of people try to do the same and just end up looking tacky or low on substance. But in my opinion, and that of people who look objectively at things, they're nothing short of average. Applause tried, but wasn't anything worth writing home about. It was just a bunch of photoshoot style stuff rammed together. The less said about MTN the better. I like an indy film as much as the next guy, but the most interesting stuff was crammed into that weird choppy bit towards the end. Did we really need an entire section of the song dedicated to dance rehearsals? No, we did not. I did enjoy her falling off the roof of her car with her legs kicking about, though.
