Yes. It's a great album which showcased Gaga's vocals the best. Why wouldn't I not be happy about it? ARTPOP was just released last year anyway. For her to embark on a second major release in less than a year is already enough for me to be grateful and happy.

I couldn't be happier. The album is great, it's doing very well, and Gaga is obviously very happy which is what matters most. The C2C era feels like a such a breath of fresh air after all the negativity that we had to deal with during the ARTPOP era.

Yes, I love Jazz - Jazz is an amazing music genre, and I love seeing Gaga pushing her own envelope as an artist, vocalist and performer and becoming happier. Her new album sounds great. 

 

All 3 of the options you listed made Jazz sound like it's just something painfully bloody awful that you're being tortured by. 

 

Personally, I love Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, Bill Evans, John Coltrane & Ella Fitzgerald... And I can enjoy some Charlie Parker too... 

 

Am I in love with Gaga's take on Jazz? Not yet. I think she has a lot of learning and growing to do. It's definitely helping her become a more powerful, subtle, nuanced, dynamic vocalist & performer. I still think she has the tendency to over-sing most of the time. Some day, I hope she will take what she's learned from songs like 'Lush Life' and infuse that into the rest of her work...

Only thing I'm unhappy about is the constant complaining from so many fans. I feel bad that you can't get into the music but just sit this one out and don't ruin it for the rest of us. This "era" is just as exciting for me as all the previous eras and I can't wait for artrave to finish so CTC can be the focus.

Yeah, I enjoy the album and if Gaga is happy again, she'll be motivated for the next pop-record.

This!!! I couldn't agree more. I think it will help her overall. I am happy with the era. None of the choices work for me. I don't love jazz, it's just ok, but I enjoy their album, truly, ..not in the same way I do modern music, however. Nothing wrong with that.
