Shes my favourite artist... and I've bought all her physical albums (although i collect albums anyway)... and i vote for her in awards and well, i like her... but clearly do not do things a lot of ppl here do: - I dont buy multiple copies of anything just to help her on the charts - I dont leasten to her all the time, i leasten to other popular music just as much even tho i apreciate Gaga more - Never been to one of her concerts (to be fair i never got a chance for one reason or another) - I dont really always trust her. I think she bull****s a lot she says for the sake of maintaining a persona or image like many artists do -Im not afraid to call her work crap when something she does comes out disappointing - I preferred KAty Perrys last era (prism) to Gagas ARTPOP i know for some ppl here thats unspeakable I dunno. And I also agree with the not trusting her / some things she says are BS. Sometimes I think she tries to say the right thing, in the right tone, like she's doing PR. At the end of the day its much healthier just to enjoy what you enjoy and not worry. For example, I love Beyoncé. I've seen her live, I have a photo with her, but I don't know everything about her and I only have a few shirts and posters. I'm not her biggest stan but I still love her as much as the next person. I loved Lily Allen's concert last week but I didn't even wait to meet her, because it wasn't too important to me. You can still get everything out of an album or a concert without being the most devoted supporter ever! Like what do you call the people that complain about their partner but stick with them because they love them so much? I stan hard for Gaga but even though I spend a lot of time of this forum, it's not because my entire life is dedicated to her, it's just because I enjoy reading people's posts and, well, being unemployed I get bored very easily and talking about Gaga seems like a good way to pass the time :ghostga: But, just like you, I don't buy multiple copies of her albums (hell, for 2 years the only copy of The Fame that I owned was a digital one that I had downloaded illegally), and I don't necessarily love everything she does. My entire world does not revolve around Gaga, I have many other interests in life and you can be a fan without spending all your money on her and forcing yourself to like everything she does.
