Luc 4,776 Posted October 12, 2014 Share Posted October 12, 2014 why is this a good thing? politics should never have a religion. it only causes problems, and they limit the freedom of people with another religion and especially those with none. the politicians will shove their religion down the throats of others, which isnt good. if you disagree with abortion, you dont do it. simple. but dont make others unable to do it. if you consider sunday to be a day when you only go to church and do nothing else, okay. but dont make it so that everybody's sunday has to look like this. let them still be able to go to stores, go to bars, recreation, etc. if you think that gay marriage is a sin, okay: dont do it. but dont make others unable to do it. its your religion, and people with a different religion or none should not be forced to think the same way. The estimation is that there are 20 million atheist/not religious citziens in Brazil (7.5 million more than in 2010).
