Nobody would want to buy a jazz album after hearing and liking a pop remix anyway so it's basically useless.

If anything radio-related, they can send Lush Life or Nature Boy, it's not much different than the John Legend and Adele ballads that radio stations spam all the time.

But the Lana remix that got Summertime Sadness on the radio was a factor in me and many others finally buying the album.

The remix and the album are not 2 different genres. It was just a trick to get a song played on the radio. Also the remix was better than the original, which not the case with C2C, because these remixes are horrible.
