Adele is obviously talented, but imo shes lucky her album got that amount of attention... I mean, dont get me wrong her songs are great, but i think shes overrated. Adele has a beautiful voice, but only for sad songs. she doesn't perform like gaga does, she doesn't dance like gaga, she JUST has a good voice. While gaga is performing like a sycho, singing like royalty, and slaying each performance. gaga has an EXCELLENT VOICE AND EXCLLENT PERFORMANCE SKILLS. it's not easy being the queen. Ethan Smith of The Wall Street Journal just happens to be wrong in his assumption that Adele's understated approach to music is better then Gaga's balls-to-the-walls approach. Because Gaga likes to go all out in all aspects of career that's somehow indicative of her confidence in her music, or lack there of? I hate this notion. This is entertainment, I want to be entertained. A good song is of course the most important, but I can only care about so many performances where you're singing a song just standing or sitting in the exact same spot.
