He may mean aspects of individual songs and the quality of her voice, trusting her instincts as a singer, etc. It doesn't mean he is shading her past work. I think Tony's really proud of her and the album they've released. The way it's being interpreted by some is not the way he meant for it to be interpreted IMO. I love Tony but I hope he doesn't brainwash Gaga into thinking her solo work is not of quality when in reality its more quality than this collaboration. I'm not getting good vibes fron him and I think he's convincing her to convince herself that jazz is the music she needs to stick to and ditch pop in which case she is being controlled by his opinions and advice simply because he is an 88 year old jazz legend and everything he says is right even if he said ARTPOP was not a quality album she'll somehow agree with him because hes 88I just want her to appreciate ARTPOP more and how much of a flawless album it was.
