He's right, and how love religion  discussions..

Do you know that there were more gods in the bible, right? like Baal, Ashera, and more, so if god exist they are exist too?

Do you know that Genesis is a reductive copy of Epic of Gilgamesh that was aged before the bible?

And the last time a virgin was pregnant, she was lying to her husband and ****ed before she met him..

And the last time god phoned home was 2014 years ago, no one heard from since then.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Even if the information was provided to you, could you comprehend it? If there are forces at work that go beyond our known universe, then it's like trying to see the forest from the trees.

What we think of "god" or whatever force that governs our physical law and its properties that allow us to even make sense of our existence, could range from how gravity works per mass, the molecular structure and reaction to atomic energy, and the cycles in which those priorities either grow or diminish.

Could humanity somehow comprehend our universe beyond the labels we give it? Having faith in mankind with its limits can be just as flawed as having faith in a deity.

this is the best post i have ever read in regards to this subject. i am not kidding. :applause:

John 17:3 refers to grasping knowledge from God AND the one he sent forth Jesus Christ. So he sent himself but not at the same time?

Collosions 1:15 speaks of God first newborn Jesus christ

Theres more but im not gonna spend all day trying to find them all but Jesus is usually refered to as Gods son not as another part of him :)

I don't know if you're trolling or w/e

But if someone chooses to believe in god, then its kind of hypocritical to not believe in the devil too.

maybe for the abrahamic religions but this belief is not represented whatsoever in my religion.

This thread is a mess. And Evolution is NOT a belief :lmao: It is a scientific theory. It is something that has been proven many times before.

And before you say "it's JUST a theory!" look up what a scientific theory is. The cell theory is another "theory"... are cells a belief too?

my point is if they are always spoken as seperate people, and that scripture thats said they are one in the context it was in could so easily be interpreted merely as saying they are on the same page on things and work together...

Is the basis for believing in the trinity that strong?

Theres way more scriptures that speak of them as seperate ppl and the few that suggest they are one, again in their context nothing suggests it was meant to be taken literally

I dont know. Im not saying whats a right belief or not or which religion is rigjt or not. Im merely saying that from what the bible itself says, more evidence points to Jesus as the son of God and NOT as the same person thats all im saying

u cant put then on the same level. We can see cells right in front of our eyes with a microscope. Evolution on the other hand was a conclusion that was started based on different evidences that suggest evolution may be the case

Not all "theories" are on the same level. I doubt the theory that cells exist is gonna change or be disputed by anyone with even a remote bit of education

Theories like the big bang or string theory have basis behind them but they are much more mysterious and unknown and much more likely to get adjustments as our knowledge grows

Dont compare evolution to the cell

PS: im not saying things dont mutate or evolve tho. Just that the argument u used in itself was flawed thats all :coffee:

Lmao that's just an opinion though.

its difficult to prove one way or the other

His arguments, at least the ones shown in the OP were weak

Religion believing in stuff that doesnt make sense doesnt automatically mean theres no god just cause organised religion has flaws

Secondly, God is suppostu be a being of a lot of power and a creator so he should have a lot of control over matter and things at their atomic level (assuming he existed) so his argument that miracles are scientifically unsound dont make sense cause for a god it would be possible

Basically what he said cant really sway u one way or the other they were just weak arguments

Microevolution is a thing. That is evolution you can observe.
