Stephen Hawking : There Is No God

There's no doubt that its wrong morally and ethically, i'm not arguing about that.

But it does spark the obvious flaws of rules made by all religions, not just Christianity.

No doubt about what is ethically wrong, yet denying religion's impact on that very basic notion?

Maybe you're right, religion is flawed. Let people operate by laws of the jungle and do whatever it takes to survive, at the expense of others if necessary.

Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

Is that your flimsy excuse for evidence? Lmao That's like proving existence of the Easter bunny by saying "Easter eggs!"

that could be said to everything then :)

What is ethically & morally wrong came from human nature, like you said yourself before, we can naturally sense what is wrong and what is right, yet not from a religious' perspective / context.

But the point still stands valid as there's many ways to logically contradict laws that were put upon us by religion and still make perfect non - flawed sense.

Are you implying that we would be following the rules of the jungle if religion didn't exist?

Jesus Christ?!?!

hes the son of God not God himself

"For he loved the world so much that he sent his only begotten son..."

"Im here not to do my will but that of the father..."

"For the father is bigger than me"

Jesus always refers to God as his father and in subjection as tho God is bigger than him... And if you say they are the same person, there is nothing in the bible that suggests a trinity. Thats something catholics made up tbh :coffee:

John 10:30 "I and the father are one"

i dont remember the whole thing but if recall the context of what the whole thing was talking about refered to mutual agreement and working together as one?

If i say i got married and im one with my wife that doesnt mean were the same person.

And even if it didnt... Would that not still contradict all those other times he refers to God as someone else never indicating it was the same person?
