Why not? Just because it's jazz doesn't mean she shouldn't put much effort into it because it'll *naturally* flop anyway(according to some.) Besides, it's always nice to see the numbers pile up, means more budget for her tours and stuff.

"It's just jazz."

Sorry if this is a dumb question or if it's been asked 100 times but...

Who the **** do you think you are to minimize a genre that has centuries of passion and creativity stitched to it? It has it's own era, it's a true album now, etc. It's no longer a side project. Of course it's going to be promoted.

Oh shut up. I meant it's not going to sell an incredible amount compared to pop in the first place, that's all. I'm not degrading any of your centuries of passion ooh-la-la crap. And the reason I asked if it was a dumb question is because I didn't want people to respond with "why not" the way they are, I was trying to get people to see my viewpoint instead of "DUUUH TO SELL THE ALBUM DERP DERP".

Because music just doesn't sell itself, and well Jazz music defiantly doesn't sell itself. So they gotta get to work getting that album out there!

I'm not saying as opposed to no promo at all. :deadbanana: God.

Well to put it like that, what would be just the right amount of promo for you? Why is this excessive?

Jazz as we know it originated in the early 20th century :laughga:

Why is it that all of your posts are so salty? I'd rather her all over all platforms, media, etc. for a genre I'm not crazy about rather than have a drought like the gap between BTW and ARTPOP. I'm not raving about the album, but it's nice to see all that passion she once had be rekindled.
