Why the excessive promotion?

Sorry if this is a dumb question or if it's been asked 100 times but.... Why do you think they're going so all out with all the various forms of promoting this album? I mean it's just Jazz... it's not like it's going to pull incredible numbers to begin with. I'm not complaining at all I just am trying to figure out what their angle is. :)

All of the above, plus on Gaga's level- trajectory is important. How well this album does directly leads into the tone of the media on the next one.

Desperate for a better foundation to launch her next album from, she wants her return to be better received and there's nothing wrong with that.

Sad all this amazing promo such as signed albums has only just been done for a jazz album but whatever

RAMROD

I like this better than zero promo.

It feels great to see her around my TV and newspapers lol.

Life without her promo feels barren tbh.

Wouldn't you want an album to do good? All that hard work just to see it "flop"?

It's not excessive, just good.

1) You have two stars, two managers, each with time to work on it and ideas.

2) C2C has the potential to sell as much as ARTPOP in US

3) ARTPOP shows how a bad start can hurt a campaign, with people calling you a flop.

"It's just jazz."

Sorry if this is a dumb question or if it's been asked 100 times but...

Who the **** do you think you are to minimize a genre that has centuries of passion and creativity stitched to it? It has it's own era, it's a true album now, etc. It's no longer a side project. Of course it's going to be promoted.

Nod if you wanna make love with the enemy. ❤
